This exhibit highlights Cheyney University in a historical context with ideas focusing on survival and triumph in the midst of racism and allienation. Wendell George Brown received his B.F.A., in Fibers / Crafts from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland and his M.F.A., in Painting / Sculpture from Howard University in Washington,D.C. He is an assistant professor at Benedict College.
